Terms of Use for YMFG Social Media Accounts

These Terms apply to all users who access or use the Official Accounts (hereinafter referred to as “Users”).
By using the Official Accounts, Users are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
The Company and the Group Banks may amend these Terms without prior notice or consent from Users.
Any revised Terms shall become effective upon publication on the Company’s and/or Group Banks’ websites.

The Official Accounts are operated for the purpose of disseminating information regarding the initiatives, products and services, events, campaigns, and other activities of the Company and the Group Banks.

Information published on the Official Accounts is provided solely for informational purposes and is not intended to constitute investment advice, recommendations, solicitations, or any similar activities.

Information published on the Official Accounts reflects the content available at the time of posting. For the most current and official information, please refer to the Company’s or the Group Banks’ websites, news releases, or other official announcements.

The Official Accounts may include links to third-party websites. Such links are provided solely for reference and do not imply any guarantee, endorsement, support, or recommendation of the linked content by the Company or the Group Banks.

Comments, replies, messages, or other similar content submitted by Users to posts on the Official Accounts (collectively, “Comments”) may be used as a reference for future operations.

As a general rule, the Company and the Group Banks do not provide individual responses to Comments submitted to the Official Accounts.

Users shall bear sole responsibility for the content of the Comments they post.

Comments posted by Users may be treated as information intended for public disclosure.

If Users have opinions, questions, requests, or other inquiries, they are requested to use the designated inquiry desks of the Company or the Group Banks.

All copyrights, trademark rights, and other intellectual property rights relating to all content posted on the Official Accounts, including text, photographs, images, videos, audio, logos, and trademarks, belong to the Company, the Group Banks, or legitimate third-party rights holders.

Except as expressly permitted under laws and regulations, Users may not reproduce, reprint, modify, redistribute, or otherwise use any content posted on the Official Accounts without prior permission from the Company or the relevant holder of rights.

Users must not post any Comments that infringe the copyrights, trademark rights, portrait rights, privacy rights, or other rights of third parties. Such acts include, but are not limited to, the unauthorized posting of photographs taken by others, images, videos or written content created by third parties, third-party logos, or facial images without the consent of the individual concerned.

If any dispute arises between a User and a third-party regarding copyrights, portrait rights, or other rights in relation to Comments posted by that User, the User shall resolve such dispute at their own responsibility, and the Company and the Group Banks shall bear no liability whatsoever.

When using the Official Accounts, the Company and the Group Banks prohibit any acts that fall under, or are likely to fall under, any of the following.

If the Company or the Group Banks determine that a user’s conduct constitutes prohibited conduct, they may take necessary measures such as deleting or hiding Comments, blocking accounts, or taking other appropriate actions without giving notice to the User.
If damage is incurred by the Company or the Group Banks as a result of the User’s conduct, they may seek compensation for such damage from the User.

Acts that interfere with, or are likely to interfere with, the operation of the Official Accounts.

Acts that defame or slander, or damage the honor or credibility of, the Company, the Group Banks, third parties, or their products or services.

Acts that cause, or are likely to cause, inconvenience, disadvantage, or damage to the Company, the Group Banks, or third parties.

Acts of impersonating the Company, the Group Banks, or third parties.

Acts that infringe the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights, as well as privacy rights, portrait rights, or other rights of the Company, the Group Banks, or third parties.

Political activities, election-related activities, religious activities, or acts similar thereto.

Acts that disseminate definitive judgments or misleading information regarding interest rates, foreign exchange, stock markets, or other financial or market conditions.

Acts that violate laws or public order and morals.

Acts that lead to, or are likely to lead to, criminal activities.

Acts involving harmful, obscene, violent, or discriminatory expressions, or other expressions that may cause discomfort to other Users.

Posting or transmitting data for the purpose of affiliate activities, advertising, promotion, solicitation, or similar activities.

Acts that violate the terms of use or prohibited conduct provisions established by social media platform operators.

Any other acts that the Company or the Group Banks deem inappropriate.

Information disseminated through the Official Accounts reflects the content available at the time of posting and does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, usefulness, or timeliness. Such information does not necessarily represent the official announcements or views of the Company or the Group Banks. For official announcements, views, and the most current information, please refer to the Company’s or the Group Banks’ websites and news releases.

The Company and the Group Banks may change, revise, delete, suspend, or discontinue the operation of the Official Accounts without prior notice.

The Official Accounts are provided through systems operated by social media platform providers, and the Company and the Group Banks do not guarantee the functionality, safety, stability, operational status, usage methods, or technical aspects of such systems, nor shall they bear liability for damages arising therefrom.

Users shall bear responsibility for the content of Comments they post, and the Company and the Group Banks shall bear no liability whatsoever. Such Comments do not indicate endorsement, approval, or agreement by the Company or the Group Banks.

If any trouble, dispute, or infringement of rights arises between Users or between a User and a third party in connection with use of the Official Accounts, the User shall resolve such matters at their own responsibility and expense, and the Company and the Group Banks shall bear no liability.

The Company and the Group Banks may store or record Comments submitted to the Official Accounts as necessary.

The Company and the Group Banks shall bear no liability for any damages arising from a User’s use of, or inability to use, the Official Accounts.

Even if a User has a claim against the Company or the Group Banks, such claim shall be deemed extinguished unless exercised within one year from the date on which the cause of the claim arose.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. In the event of any dispute arising in connection with the use of the Official Accounts, the Shimonoseki Branch of the Yamaguchi District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
